As a Canes fan I get the frustration, but there’s just so much that goes into winning a Cup it’s impossible to break it down so simply as this guy can coach you to one and this guy can’t. Look at Maurice post Winnipeg and the takes we all have out when Florida hired him. Not to say you can’t take away constructive criticism from failed playoff runs, but particularly once you reach the Conference Finals by and large you’ve got four really great teams left and it’s very often just bounces here and there or certain groups gelling and getting hot at the right time.

 

maybe just me but seems like a not smart idea to have your young star keep playing with an injured shoulder that won't get better without surgery
