In their 28 years of existence, the Hurricanes have made the conference finals 6 times, for a rate of once every 4.66 or round up to once every 5 years. One Cup and one Finals appearance with a chance for another Finals appearance this year. Considering the teams who have never one a Cup or just straight up never see playoff success in their modern era I consider us a blessed fanbase all things considered. When you consider the decade of darkness from 09-19 and the rate of success we’ve seen as a small market team in the South, I still can’t even be too mad if we get swept again. Still have a great team for the future especially with Nikishin next year, tons of cap space, whole lot of draft picks, and objectively one of the best coaches around.

I was checking the score and during the 2nd I said well at least I'm not missing anything good

 

My son and I went out for pizza and were watching at 3-1 in the 2nd. Imagine my surprise when they scored 5 unanswered goals and a brawl broke out at the buzzer. Wild.

 

Switched over to watch the Knicks fuck it all up and woke up to this score. I wish I was a legit stars fan you guys are getting an absolute all timer post season

 

Started watching partway through the 2nd period and something told me not to turn it off and I'm so glad I didn't
