Binnington wasn't Brodeur in 2010 bad, but if they're gonna go with a Cup winner I'm surprised they didn't start Hill or even bring Kuemper who have done it more recently. They gotta sort something out with their forwards, though. McDavid couldn't get away from Hanifin & the injuries on the defense kind of fucked them in this game. Harley gave them a boost but aside from that you had their top guys feeding the point to ancient Drew Doughty & Devon Toews throwing 50 footers & Slavin was a fire blanket on all the rebounds. Expecting them to be pissed & throttle Finland before the rematch on Thursday when Makar gets back in.

 

Hanifin shutting down mcdavid like that was impressive.
