Wish nothing but the best for Necas and hope he kills it over there. Colorado has been my default Western Conference team for as long as I can remember. He’s tailor made for their system, and thankfully I believe the Canes got a player in return who fits our system better than he does. Rantanen’s size and ability to hold onto the puck in the offensive zone coupled with his elite ability to put a puck right on a teammate’s blade/pick a corner through traffic is a match made in heaven for our cycle game. The way he can pin a team down in their own zone will really help us out come playoff time.
