Well, Mahomes is still technically on his first extension off his rookie deal...so, the first 2 years of that were like $20mil/yr, thus why it looks so bad. He's actually making 4yr/$205mil over the length of that Goff deal, and that assumes they dont accelerate any bonus money

Still probably the smartest deal any team has ever signed because it locked him up for 10 years, almost guaranteed he'd never be THE highest paid guy, but would always be one roster bonus or one signing bonus away from always being top 5

I know Spotrac now does some cash accumulation stuff, but, Mahomes also has so many bonuses for SB wins, Pro Bowl, League MVP, etc...good chance he makes $55mil/yr over the next 4 years once that all factors in
