After seeing Fancy Dance at that indie theater on Friday I’m gonna try to go there more often. They played The Truman Show earlier this week and I had no idea.

To be fair, it is a very small self owned PT clinic. They only have 5 employees. But with how much my boss, who is a full time PT there, has been out of town in the last month and half it’s kind of annoying.

 

Can’t everyone that needs PT just chill out for a couple of days

 

At six years old Kirby already thinks it’s not cool to like things. We watched emperors new groove last night and he was fully engrossed and when we asked if he liked it he said no with a shit eating grin.

 

I am going to be looking for a new job soon though lol. I keep pushing that back for various reasons. But the newest one is we’re going to go to NY for a week (to see Chappell Roan lmao) and if I take a new job now I wouldn’t be able to use PTO because I’d probably have a 90-day probation period.

i can’t complain about the amount of time i get off because we get every bank holiday and it ends up being like 12 non-PTO days a year but we only get the day of the holiday so it stinks on years it’s on a weekend or like christmas week or whatever

what am i gonna do, work the week between christmas and new years? be serious

 

Apparently the kid who works for me now was told by his previous boss to just take days off whenever and not log them in ADP or whatever. Which is an attitude I fully respect, but also, I kinda can't get in trouble right now so sorry but that's ending haha

Folks in offices complaining about when they can and can’t use PTO always makes me jealous

oh you can’t get paid for your day off! Poor you, I have to try to be far enough ahead of my bills that I can eat the $0 if I take any day off ever lol

 

Randall I’m not trying to be mean but like there ARE other jobs

 

Like yes you should ALSO get PTO in the service industry

but if that job isn’t giving you what you want then you should find something else

and if you say something about not caring about PTO then don’t complain about us lol

 

Also I tip like 20-25% when I go out so I'm exempt from service industry anger kthxbye
