(Also for the record I legit have half-Hawaiian family, an uncle and an aunt and all my aunts kids. My dad and his siblings lived there for a big chunk of his childhood with his Hawaiian step-dad, and my half-Hawaiian aunt married a Hawaiian man… so not exactly the same as white people going to Hawaii on vacation)

Please only go to Oahu. That island is already pretty colonized on the south side where Honolulu is & much of its economy is based on tourism.

However, the rest of the islands including the north shore of Oahu very much are negatively impacted when tourists from other parts of the world go there or move there.

 

I assure you, no one in this thread can afford to even look at a picture of Hawaii
