Both of your posts showed up but didn't load the tweets right away so I just read "uh oh" and "oh my god" and just assumed Trevor Lawrence tore his ACL somehow

A Feast for Crows will make you hate the show. Dance with Dragons is my 2nd favorite. Feast has some really great moments but once you know the story behind how that book came to exist it makes so much sense lol

Oh hell yeah! If Dance of Dragons is your 2nd favorite then I'm pumped to still have it on deck. In my quick online reading it appears the two books were split in 2? Since it seems like some major characters don't appear in the next one. And if that means just more & new characters from the iron Islands and Dorne I'm in

Feast of Crows is good, especially since you dont' have to wait six years for the next book.

Yeah I’m dreading the moment I finish A Dance of Dragons lol

I know people have made guides to reading Feast and Dance concurrently since there is overlap with timelines and such. Seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth but just sayin

I've been going back and watching every game, and i have thoroughly talked myself into Brian Thomas Jr. 17 TDs but he should've had 22 and could've had 25. Route running isn't a problem, the routes he ran was more due to offense than actual limitations. Everything about how he moves screams NFL player - eyes, hands, feet, hips, he's got it. He played 11 corners that got drafted in the first 5 rounds and dominated reps against all of them.

In summation - WR4 in the draft. I'm not at all worried.

yeah they told him the 4th book was too long to publish so he split it geographically. Feast is Iron Islands, Dorne, Kings Landing, and the Riverlands. Dance is the rest and then they converge like 2/3 of the way through the book. Dance will also make you hate the show lol. Jon Snow is great in the books.

Love it. I eventually talked myself into him as WR4 (and took him in my dynasty draft as such). My biggest question was: "is the limited route tree a scheme or player issue? And if player ... can he learn it?" and I feel good about him and the pick. I feel like a lot of the negativity may not exist if it weren't for G*** D****

Good to know this going in, thanks!!

He's got the short area quickness for sure. It was helpful to watch snaps where he wasn't on the field or when he was lined up in the slot or in motion cause you can see that that's just how LSUs offense worked.

Who are your top book characters so far

Jordyn Brooks (who is a linebacker) is wearing #20 for Miami and I regret to inform the vibes are BAD

Jaime #1 plus Jon, Tyrion, Davos. But I kinda don’t hate many? Only chapters I would sort of sigh at when I’d see they’re next were Bran.

Cersei was my favorite show character for how evil, cunning, and just great she was. I’m pumped to get a ton of her next book

    Davos is my GOAT.

How Cersei is done in the book is so great. She's one of the characters that couldn't be accurately translated from page to screen cause of how books/unreliable narrators work. There's another but I don't give it away

Davos is so good. Character was AMAZING in the show too.

AFFC was better on a reread, but that was like 13 years ago for me. They definitely do Dorne so much more justice in the books. And Euron is nowhere near as bad in the books.

ASOS remains in the top 5 fantasy books I've ever read
