My last raise was like 27 cents or something. Just ridiculous. They also said that once everything is fully back up and running it’s going to be hard to use our PTO which is really cool to hear.

 

I've got one guy on my team that's basically a lead, he's been here awhile but we raised our starting pay last year and he's somehow the lowest paid dude now

I'm trying to get him an official promotion so he'll get a good raise

I just talked to the construction manager and he wants me to train the longest tenured guy on the cable equipment to make him semi skilled, dudes been a laborer for like five years and is nearing capping out at his position. And if it is less work for me, MIGHT AS WELL

i'm annoyingly at a point where I know I'm not going to get a raise anytime soon, but: no direct manager in the office/basically make my own hours/monthly vehicle stipend makes it fine

It's time for my yearly review and since i have no possibility of a raise and thus dont care about the review in the slightest, might just mark everything as outstanding and offer no reasoning and let them have fun with it
