max is gonna make plans REAL QUICK

 

That with jet lag is INSANE

 

We already have plans for a week in July so that’s why I’m asking lol

 

I would like to take a real vacation soon

our friends from PA think it would work better if we come visit in the fall instead of June

we're doing a little 3 day trip to Kansas City/St. Louis in June for an Aaron West concert. maybe make it 4 days for fun. we'll see

I would also very much like to go to Universal and/or Disney but my wife is like "no we gotta save money and get rid of some debt"

whatever, man

Going to da beach in September. Excited to not do anything for a week. I hate trips where every thing is planned out for every day.

I'm trying to also go to Los Angeles in August but I dunno if it's doable yet

I havent ever really taken a trip where we don't plan things or at least be budget-conscious

that's why kelsey keeps saying we should put off a big vacation for another year, to splurge lol

Our Universal trip was pretty fun

It was a nice reminder of how much Orlando sucks though

 

I don't think this is true but I haven't seen them all

 

universal keeps tempting me because 1: I prefer it over disney and 2: they're constantly emailing me stuff like "hey man pay for 3 days and we'll give you 5 how about that????"

 

like I’d fucking tell you.

 

When we went to Aruba I plopped my ass on a chair on the beach for 5 days and I desperately want that again

 

yeah I mean we’ll definitely budget for stuff but I went on several trips with an ex and her family and legit the entire day from 8 am until after dinner was planned out. It was so stressful and annoying.

It's a lot more fun than Disney but also after going to SFOT a good 4-5 times a year it was a big reminder that lines exist. I'm so used to 20mins being the max line length and Universal was HARSH. I think if we went again I'd splurge on line passes

But yeah it was a good time. I'd recommend the line passes and also staying at a nicer spot than the one we did (we did the one that's off of Volcano Bay or whatever and it was kinda ass)
