I think we'd need a confirmation of an extension. My thought was 17 for Aiyuk and 31 or at least their 2nd.

 

If it was possible we could confirm an extension that gets signed immediately when he gets here, then I’d trade 17 for him no problem.

 

But I don’t trust Baalke to offer him a good enough number to agree to that

The Eagles traded the 18th overall pick and a third round pick for just AJ Brown and the right to extend him

17 and Zay for Aiyuk would be an absolute steal

 

Nabers ain’t gonna be thurr but Rome very well could. I’m down for that move for sure. Also down to trade down or stay put for Mitchell. But Rome is a stud, enough that I’d give up more than a little bit of draft capital to go get him.

Aiyuk is a great player. Has been for a while, but has faced a similar issue as Brown did where he just wasn’t fed a ton of targets. What he’s done these last two seasons on 114 and 105 targets is incredible. Imagine getting fed 140 or 150 targets.

 

The Eagles also had two other first round picks right? I much more easily throw one at a team for the chance of signing established talent if I have others

 

Yeah the Eagles had two first round picks that year. Even if they had one, I wouldn’t care.

 

Another factor: Philly was a huge upgrade for AJ Brown. Aiyuk is probably downgrading to go from SF to JAX, which elicits more doubt that he’d stay
