Simply:
1) wear sunscreen
2) bring snacks and water
3) don’t put your sandy feet on the nonsandy parts of the beach towel
4) make sure to go WITH the wind not against it when you decide where to shake out the towel
5) actually use the little showers to rinse the rest of the sand off your feet and legs
6) resist the urge to put shoes on until you’ve finished your sand walk and shower
7) bring a plastic bag to put the sandy towel, flip flops / sandals, and swimsuit in, and bring a fresh shirt and fresh pants and fresh socks to change into as well as a fresh towel to wipe off any additional dampness and sand while changing in the bathroom

99% of beach nuisances can be dealt with by being prepared

Hiking and camping also require effort and preparation to enjoy but that’s outdoors for ya

 

The one thing I hate about the beach is the chance of getting stung by a jellyfish cause that seems like it sucks and both Matt and Dustin have stories of bad jellyfish stings so that is a nope

When we do a week at the beach I get down there at like 9am to set up and usually have like an hour at least to myself to drink beer and listen to music while enjoying the sight of the ocean. Absolutely love it.

it will be more fun with Declan is a bit older so he can do more in the water. He’s been taking swimming classes for four years so he’s pretty good.

 

I think OBJ is a fine WR3/4 for an offense. Not someone you want on the field as much as your top two guys, but a guy to rotate in and out of the lineup. He obviously contributed to the Ravens’ offense last year, even though he inexplicably disappeared from the offense late in the season.

When’s the last time Claypool actually contributed enough to fool people into thinking he was a decent receiver? His rookie season four years ago?

As someone who gets sunburnt in 4 minutes, I have learned to like the beach. I get a chair with a built on umbrella. A ton of sunscreen. A book. A beer. A beach beef or Italian sub. Perfect day

I went to Daytona beach once. For like an hour. Forgot about the concept of The Tides and ruined a pair of sneakers, had to go to the Nike outlet and buy new ones

As much as I love a beef on the beach, I’d have to say an Italian sub is like a perfect beach food

i'm not proud of it but a hill i'm pretty fine dying on is bww is nowhere near as bad at the rap it gets. you gotta know what youre getting into going there, and ive always had amostly satisfying experience.

 

Just went to the beach yesterday for an hour or so. I generally don’t like the beach.
