Pretty sure Oklahoma was already doing those trades many years ago.

Busses don't bother me too much, but granted I don't take them a ton. I can do subway/trains for the majority of my needs here.

Yeah, I feel you on that. I learned that my best bet is to just get up early and do the laundry while everyone else is still eating breakfast lol. Lot less competition and I just grab my clothes/sheets/etc. from the dryer and do the actual folding and whatnot at my apartment. It's just a few minutes in a laundry bag.

lol the offense is gonna be good, but I think we've seen by now they're just the Philadelphia Sixers of the NFL. They'll make a big splash signing and for a bit look for real, and then the playoffs come and they'll do what they do.

is signing a WR3 for $3mill really a "big splash" signing though? I get OBJ gets treated differently in the media, and I hate that too.

In fact, they basically spent all offseason making non-"big splash" signings. They let Wilkins and Hunt leave for $100m contracts and basically replaced them with much lesser pieces, but have improved their team depth overall IMO. The OL, Edge, LB, and CB depth will be much improved this year vs last. Still think they need to add one more guard and one more safety and then I will be happy with the offseason overall.

the late season/cold weather criticisms are totally fair though until proven otherwise. Hopefully they can field a somewhat healthy team this year down the stretch as opposed to last year.

One super fun thing in my life right now is how my company hasn't adjusted for no longer having a web developer. They laid him off and gave me his job, despite my 0 years experience in web development. But they still talk to/expect answers on things like I have 12 years experience in a college degree, when in reality my answer is normally "I'm just gonna do what you should have done and google it."

I would argue no, but if they're gonna treat it as "Who's stopping THIS" then I guess it is haha

believe me, I hate the Twitter/media BS about it too. My opinion of OBJ on here is well known. I was sick of hearing about him potentially signing that one year all the way down the stretch.

But for $3m base salary and as the WR3 in this offense, its hard to complain about. Much better than turds like Braxton Berrios and Robbie Chosen and Chase Claypool who we were trotting out there in a playoff game.

Oh it's a fine signing, I don't really care about that lol. I'm eyerolling any "NOW the Dolphins have figured it out" just because I think their best player is a flake when it matters most. Hence the 76ers comparison lol

like I said, until they perform better in December/January and into the playoffs, its a totally fair criticism.

My hope is that Tua improves that part of his game somehow. Each of the last 2 seasons, he has made huge strides. First going into 2022 it was "all he can do is check down", and then he went out and led the league in YPA and QB rating. Then going into 2023 it was "well thats great but he can't stay healthy" and then he played the entire season and led the league in passing yards.

OBJ's 4 or 5 healthy games and 3 total TDs arent going to be the dolphin's difference maker, but at that price it almost seems silly to not give the dice a roll.
