Yeah, I've largely only heard positive things.

My cousin and his wife moved there a few years ago and I learned his wife might not be as big a fan as we were led to believe. Sounds like she's been affected by SAD while living there. Or it's because she works at Boeing. who can tell?

 

yeah, I hate the sun too. I almost moved there a few times because they have a college with a good neurodiversity program.

The prices there aren’t different enough from here and they have less public transit, crossing my fingers the trains became decent eventually.

 

There's a relatively decent chance our sons have battled and/or helped one another in Roblox. That kid lives and breathes it lately.

It wouldn't be the world's biggest savings between here and there, but 300 or so cheaper rent and get slightly more (oh god i miss in-unit laundry so much) works for me, especially as WA also doesn't have state income tax, meaning i have more with each paycheck.

The weak transit is an issue, especially as I'd like to not have to own a car again, if possible.
