I’m this way with Bar Rescue. That show is actually really informative about the upkeep of a food service establishment, and how much you really have to be cognizant of at the same time to run it efficiently and safely. Even if him blowing up in their face about stuff is dramatized and he lets them know in a waiver / contract that he’s going to do that for the show; the stuff he actually blows up about is like “yeah I’ve worked at places that neglected that” haha

 

You really could find reasons to blow up on the owner of almost any local restaurant or bar haha. It’s a fucking lot. Any of the 80 or whatever “SafeServ” etc steps that servers and cooks skip because they don’t get paid enough to care that much, can snowball into a major cleanliness, food safety, or quality control issue for the place if it gets neglected too long
