Yeah, I just think as men we can sometimes be blinded to the fact that there’s additional context outside of us just being human and it being natural to be attracted to things. There are very few spaces for women to be, online or otherwise, where they’re not being culturally ogled and objectified, so that’s why I took a step back and was like wait, let’s not make the thread more dominated by masculine energy than it already is, there is at least one member of the thread who isn’t a man and who has been made uncomfortable by that dynamic before.
