Accounting is more strategy than math

 

the radio version of Sabrina Carpenter's Please Please Please changes "please don't embarrass me motherfucker" to "please don't embarrass me little sucker" and it is unpleasant to hear

 

also jesus christ idk how anyone listens to regular radio. I was cycling through stations basically the entire 25 minute drive back to my office and heard like 3.5 songs total and the rest were ads

 

It’s a whole other world to me, I haven’t put the radio on for myself in… longer than I can remember

As far as ads go though… we all do our own version of that with the NFL lol. When people tell me “I hate football it’s 80% downtime and commercials just to watch 5 seconds of action at a time” how can you argue with that? You can’t lol it’s true. We all just love the strategy and the reality-TV elements of football so much that we’re used to waiting a long time for morsels of excitement

 

i haven't listened to the radio since 2004 lol

 

Yeah something like that for me too haha. Maybe I would like, nostalgically put on certain stations in Jacksonville to remind myself of what radio was like as a kid but that’s it

 

I didn't feel like connecting my phone to a truck i'll probably never drive again and I regret it

Yeah I had to rent a car after work last night and skip to DC real quick (drummer took MY KEYS HOME WITH HIM AFTER THE SHOW lol) and the music was a BIG part of that being a tolerable 1 hour drive each way

I was in a noisy punk / post punk mood so I listened to “Vs” by Mission of Burma on the way down and “Murray St” by Sonic Youth on the way up

fuck a 00s punk revival more bands gotta do a 80s and 90s punk revival, and not just the tappy guitar bad vocals Midwest emo shit that’s already been done to death

Trying to get hired at United Airlines or Southwest Airlines once they start hiring pilots again. They have a base here in Orlando, and in Denver. So I wouldn’t have to fly to work anymore, I’d just drive the 45 minutes or so. Right now I’m flying from Orlando to Philly and it’s rough sometimes.

We were told Denver was nice, but when we went to Breckenridge, we stayed a day/night in Denver and it kind of just felt like Tampa, but cold lol. We did find some nice places northwest of Aurora, but they were pushing like 6-700k which is a bit out of our price range. Colorado Springs is slightly more affordable and has a badass zoo, with mountains. I grew up in Alaska, so I’m trying to get all four seasons and mountains again haha
