i've got to do compensation stuff for my 8 reports this week.

congrats you all get a roughly 55-60 cent raise because there's a budget and that's what was approved

same with bonuses. 3 guys that have been here the whole year get the full allotment and it's prorated for everyone that started from March onward

 

getting a 1% raise in 2022 was the final straw for me quitting my prior company lol

i told my boss i didnt want it. he said i had to take it.

 

I think we're budgeted to give everyone 3.25% this year which really sucks

 

I once (when I was much younger) got offered an assistant manager job at a gamestop and it was done under the premise of, if I stay with the company 6 months and my numbers are good, I'd get bumped from $10 an hour to $15 an hour

they bumped me up to $10.60 an hour instead despite us having record sales that year. I put in my two weeks notice at the end of that meeting discussing my new pay lol

 

we have like 15 drivers working right now

 

cobra we work at different places

 

if my guys weren't able to get lots of OT there's no way they'd stay here and that's understandable!
