So this is cool, my CEO and CMO have decided to become very focused on our website and particularly our search strategy. What's awesome is that I don't own any of that, but because I own the website people think I do so I get blamed for issues I have no control over.

 

As someone on the spectrum who always dives deeper into his passions and interests than he probably should, this resonates with me a lot and touches on why last season for the Eagles was actually a bummer for me. Because nothing really changed with them this offseason, it made it easier for me to just step back over the course of several months and now I’m like “Oh, this player stinks? Go figure.”

I still love football and the Eagles, but I’ve certainly felt less emotionally invested in them this season. It’s easy for others to ask why I’m emotionally invested in them in the first place when I should just keep it casual and enjoy the wins as they come, but that’s not as easy for me as it is for others. I enjoy the ~escape~ football provides me, or at least that’s it’s supposed to provide me. But as the Eagles continue to be mid, I’m just going to tune out more and more until a meaningful changes comes. I have other things to spend my time and energy on.

 

Speaking of spending my time and energy on other things, what does it say about me that Juno by Sabrina Carpenter is nearly my most listened to song of the year so far and it hasn’t even been 48 hours since I first heard it?

 

These are what I mean when I say potato salad. I don’t get the obsession with mayo heavy salads either. At least coming from New Orleans cuisine I see salads as something you want to be tangy and well spiced, not… mayonnaisy. I do the same thing with tuna salad and egg salad, and pasta salad should only ever be made with vinegar or a non cream based dressing imo.

the only “salad” that is good that has a base of mayo and not just a LITTLE unnoticeable mayo as a binding agent, is shrimp salad but down here they basically make it into an Old Bay aioli, I didn’t think I’d like it but I do

Last night at work they did a twist on potato salad that used purple sweet potatoes, chanterelle mushrooms and bacon vinaigrette, as a side for our Red Curry-stuffed Porchetta special. That shit was FUCKIN GOOD

 

Is that mean? You probably think that because of the (should have been) Oscar winning documentary Joe Dirt

 

I’d easily spend $54 on that meal tbh
