I listened to a couple of those vampire weekend singles when they first came out and wasn't super into them

loved those first two albums but the only thing I've listened to after that is Stranger

I went to check out the “new” Bayside album out today and realized like 6 of these songs were released 1-2 years ago lol

 

I think that's the same user that was not into Dune pt 2 and said some dumb shit like "history will prove me right"

yeah its kind of a weak release strategy lol its nice to get 5 or 6 new songs but, feels like we just got an EP

 

Bayside's another one I just haven't cared about for years.

Now that I'm thinking about it, they and VW are bands I kinda stopped caring about after I was like, 22 I guess

 

man I completely forgot about Bartees Strange until looking through the music threads a bit ago

 

i like bayside. they're long island boys, i have a bayside tattoo, but theyre real good at just putting out the same stuff every 3-4 years. its not bad, its actually remarkably consistent, but they've never tried to push the envelope.

 

Bayside was probably one of the first "scene" bands I listened to

I didn't really have cable tv until I was like 13 or 14, but I started watching Fuse all the time and I remember seeing the video for Duality

 

Is Bayside actually still a band? I saw them touring with I think Armor For Sleep back when I was like 18

Good for them lasting this long, they were kind've a mid tier band of that era back then, I just grew out of most of those bands in my early 20s so I dont keep up

 

Bayside stays very busy and I think draws very consistent crowds

I think I Am Easy To Find is a good record so the poster thought I was young for some reason? They also think alligator is their best which just isn’t true.
