I used to be the biggest asshole and make fun of everyone the most but I haven’t in years but still have that reputation so now people dunk on me extra hard, like making fun of me for having Lymes disease! They call me limey!

I've been an early person for most of my life but I'm trying to let myself be later sometimes because my anxiety demands I become okay with it, but I always communicate if it's going to happen

As long as people preemptively say "I'm going to be x minutes late" I don't care nearly as much anymore

like I get why tardiness annoys people but life is stressful for all of us and way more stressful when people are so worried about 5 minutes

I’m always early to everything that matters but if someone’s like head over around 5:30 I’m fine getting there at like 5:45. My brain still makes me be in my seat for a movie right at the start time even though I know there’s at least 15 minutes of previews.

Theres always perfectly acceptable reasons to be late. Nobody is saying that, shit happens, but if youre one of those people that are so habitually late it becomes part of your character, grow up lol

 

My mother runs late just always and it caused me no end of anxiety and stress growing up, so i will get annoyed with people who do it without good reason.
