Look, if we were in a focus group where we took 50 random adults to a local show and documented their feelings on it you’d be correct, but it’s also true that people make a lot of negative assumptions about local music despite not ever being at a local show that wasn’t their amateur college buddy playing white guy reggae lmao (just a silly example)
