The fact that this team’s even gotten to two winning seasons in a row,

after being in cap hell from a quickly declined Sacksonville defense, losing Jalen Ramsey, wasting the 2020 draft including an extra pick from Ramsey, and then following that up by hiring Urban Meyer to coach the newly blown-up team just 3 years ago…

that’s already a huge W. Jags haven’t done that since fuckin 2007 lol. And when you consider the HOME playoff W in there Jags haven’t done all THAT since 1999.

So it’s not like we’ve doomed ourselves recently or done only terrible things, Baalke and Pederson did still lift the team out of “horrible team” land and we bounced back into the discussion. We’re just neglecting a few pieces of the puzzle that turn 9-win purgatory into repeat playoff appearances. which is arguably more frustrating but it’s way too early to declare we botched the rebuild cause a few smart tweaks this off-season and next could easily turn us into a consistent playoff team. This is the best the cursed Jags have been “rebuilt” in a long time lol, and they literally did start from scratch aside from quarterback.

Meh. Andy Reid turning the Alex Smith Chiefs into a competitor from scratch pre-Mahomes was also similarly a huge W. It’s not a superbowl victory but going from 2-14 to playoffs that quickly is nuts. It set the team up for Mahomes to become what he is

Yeah I mean because Trevor. He had high expectations, and after four INSANE fourth quarter comebacks in one season, he looked like he arrived. But while it was encouraging to see that he CAN get clutch and elevate in pressure moments like that, we got way too complacent with our offense as a result and in actuality that shit’s only sustainable if he has weapons and line around him who are ALSO clutch and can ALSO handle that pressure.
