GOT 1-4 is pretty solid. everything after is a trainwreck

5+ all had incredible moments but once the show lapped the books it was clear the showrunners were in way over their head.

 

Oh yeah, they had moments, but i meant by and large they were bad. the asshole showrunners wanted to be done and it shows. HBO wanted to give the show more time but they wanted to run and pitch their civil war show or whatever.

 

1-4 might be the greatest run of a show ever.

I loved seasons 1-6 of the show, 7 & 8 sucked

I would imagine the books are going to be much better, more detailed, and more involved than the show which is what I’m excited about!

It’ll just suck finishing book 5 and never getting Winds of Winter

 

I got confused by these lol, I would imagine the books are much better than the show was and that’s why I’ll hate the show in the end cause they prob butchered a bunch of plots/characters/etc. never mind the ending once the passed the books

I give Winds of Winter like a 10% chance but no way A Dream of Spring is possible at all. I at least knew that going in and still committed to read them haha

 

its a book series i'll never read.

it's not getting finished and from everything ive heard is that the later books that have come out kind of suck

I think there's an outside chance he already has them finished and is just not gonna publish them til he's dead; especially if he's either got the same ending or a WILDLY different ending.

But, yeah, it's like 95+% odds that he's got no pages and had absolutely no clue how to end the thing
