worst live performance i've ever seen was probably brand new at bamboozle in like 2007 or 2008 i think. they were the first band on of the day, they went on at like noon when the gates opened and jesse was beside himself drunk and played nothing correctly, and they played degausser twice in the set lol

 

taking back sunday is the worst band i’ve ever seen live primarily because adam is the worst singer i’ve ever heard live

 

like the band seemed pissed off hearing him sing so bad

 

They're probably 2nd for me but it helped that I expected it

 

Jimmie's Chicken Shack to a room of about 8 people that couldn't have cared less......not only was it not good, it was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing for them

 

Brand New was okay when I saw them but I was also extremely drunk at the time and kept pissing off my friends because I repeatedly said "Hatsune Miku last week was better though"

 

Oof yeah tbs is rough

 

Worst was probably Polyphia because i'm not a fan and the set dragged out forever and all their shit sounds samey (I was just there for Chon)

 

I'm a Polyphia fan but I don't like clips I've seen of their live show because it feels weird to be like "YEAH GET THE FUCK UP LETS FUCKING GO" to a lot of their stuff

 

It was alot of that hah

 

To be fair though they were a younger band maybe they've grown out of that I dunno

 

Their sound has evolved a TON but I don't feel like the stage banter really has haha

I like their most recent albums a ton while being generally apathetic to their older stuff

 

I went to go see Todd Rundgren with my dad expecting him to play a bunch of his classic rock hits but instead it was some like new age bullshit. An awful concert.

 

I've seen TBS put on very questionable performances, mostly in festival settings, but I've also seen them and adam (recently) sound fantastic. maybe I'm biased but i really think they make sure to give their A+ game at the long island hometown shows lol

 

I have seen them be good once and then I saw online everyone was like "wait really, Adam sucks live though" and then I saw them a second time with Thursday and THAT time Adam was awful

 

the WWWY Festival videos that went around on tiktok did not do them any help

 

I think my least favorite show was seeing Turnover years back. It was soooooo boring, they barely played anything off their 1 good album, they had the same stagnant blue light the entire show, they didn't say a word to the crowd, and we were all just so bored lol

Partly my fault seeing a band who only has 1 album I like and seeing them on tour not for that album, but still.

 

Didn't Maye get hit like 4 times in 4 minutes last night?

 

brand new was kinda close to modest mouse to me in that depending on the show they either sounded incredible best show ever top tier shit or the absolute dregs of live music night to night

 

The one time I saw Modest Mouse it was the latter unfortunately

 

Yeah its partly why nobody really wants Maye to play actual snaps this season. The team is just not ready for him and every single of the 3 games it looks like Brissett was ready for a stretcher.

Week 1 was a fun little moment but it will most likely be the highlight of the season. The offense is predictably bad.

 

I also wipe on Sundays

 

It's not my fault people can't look at pretty obvious thing and adjust their expectations. Thursday Night Football with 40% of your already bad offensive line out is gonna yield some pretty obvious results.

 

I check the release calendar every week, and I think I'm at a point where I just don't have time (maybe interest?) to sort out new to me artists like I used to.

So I'll just be listening to Bright Eyes today, lol.
