I think Cam is overrated because he’s talked about like he was generationally great and not just a pretty good QB who got hot once and won MVP (which was deserved) but then never performed anywhere close to that well again

 

I'd like to point out too we're still ignoring "John Harbaugh was able to win a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco and beat the 2 greatest QBs of that generation on the way and coached Lamar Jackson, and Cam was coached by Ron Rivera who made Washington look the exact same as Carolina (if not worse) and Cam still put up those numbers"

lamar was only ever originally brought up to say that people like him, AR, and others wouldn't be able to have the career he is having without cam coming first. and then you said cam is overrated.

The only reason I brought up Lamar is to acknowledge that yes, other running QBs have lower passing numbers too, but illustrate that I’m also judging efficiency not just passing production -

so I’m not being unfair to Cam by centering his average passing production / average passing efficiency combination in this discussion and it’s not dismissing the fact he got a lot of his productivity running. My whole thing is yes he was an amazing runner but a very overrated passer

 

Is Cam constantly talked like he was generationally great? Genuinely asking because I don’t listen/watch whatever podcasts/shows are talking about Cam.
