And in some cases it’s whatever but in this thread I talk to y’all all the time & even if that’s my opinion of a band, I’m more likely to have an open minded demeanor if one of y’all speaks highly of something. Just cause I don’t want any of my friends to feel like I look down upon their interests haha

Deftones is a very good band who, reputation wise, has the misfortune of being lumped together with almost exclusively bad bands

Avoiding sacks =/= getting rid of the ball. He held the ball a LONG time pretty often when he was trying to make a big play. He just could get away with it more in college cause of how athletic he is. I remember another mobile QB you were high on that I wasn’t for this reason

not sure where the second part of this post comes from. Didn’t he have like a 54% career completion percentage in college?

Yeah this is a lot of what I’m getting at. The attitude people who haven’t heard much Deftones have toward this band is clearly educated by their label’s marketing and not their actual music
