Ask your vet about getting some melatonin for your dog. We have to give both the boys some whenever we see the vet.

 

We’ve got some small sedative (trazodone maybe?) that we use for long car rides, but it’s a little strong so if it’s just a short trip we dont bother. We also don’t take them places very often.
