he's the scariest guy i've ever seen in my life

 

I'm old, and seeing Teen Spirit as a kid on MTV was my first "what is THIS?" musical epiphany. I went to a small Christian school on Long Island, and my musical rock exposure was like, Petra and Stryper.

So even though they aren't "my" band, seeing the band turn into the clothing brand bugged me for like, five minutes. Then I realized I don't care.

That said, while I knew the band's merch was more popular than ever, my recent Disney World trip blew my mind. It seemed like 30% of the people under 25 were in a Nirvana shirt, crew socks, and Crocs.
