the place i went to was in Industry City, which is a really cool place, but fucking hell that BBQ was overpriced and not that great

It really is I can name so many places with that exact seating and lights. It’s like when landlords raise the rent by 70% just because they put in vinyl flooring and a new dishwasher

 

This DOES exist in Texas

 

going out to eat 85% of places in NYC is like going out to eat in disney world. you're paying 15-20% more than you would elsewhere just because of where you are. so its very, very hard to justify very mediocre or even "decent" barbeque at that price point.

 

Some BBQ is good, some is bad

 

i dont know if thats true grant, have you done research? have you completed trial experiments? are there field journals with your notes?
