Here's a story I think the thread will enjoy. Happened today.

We dropped off our car at Midas because the battery was being weird. They said it was a bad terminal on the battery, and we also needed an oil change and that it would only take like 30-40 mins. My wife followed me there in another car and I told her she should just go home (6 minutes down the road). After she left my monitor was showing that my levels were dropping and I didn't have anything with me (usually always carry apple juice) and there was no vending machine or anything in the Midas place.

I saw a taco place next store and figured heck I'll get a Mexican coke, I got time. It had this cool mural on the outside so it seemed legit:



I walked over there and there was a sign on the door. I didn't really read it but went to the next door, figuring it was just a 'use the other door' sort of situation.

It was not. The taco place had shut down. I instead walked into a cannabis dispensary:



I opened the door and there were 4 people behind the counter all looking at me and no customers. Instead of backing out and being like 'my mistake, I thought this was the taco place' like a normal person, I sort of wandered in and attempted to make conversation about weed, something which I have no knowledge of. I began with a vague 'so, how do you explain all this stuff if we live in Texas?'

The very stoned guy behind the counter was talking about how it all came down to The Science and most people don't pay attention to that stuff. He then pulled out 3 bags of 'kush' and was like 'go ahead and open them and take a whiff'. One of them was called Sleepy Joe, another was called Ice Cream Cake. I obliged him and sniffed all three bags (they smelled like burnt ass). I said 'wow that definitely smells like ice cream cake' in a joke-y way and I think that's when he realized I clearly walked in by mistake lol. I pretended to look at pipes for a little bit instead of, once again, just leaving like a normal person.

After I left, my wife said she watched me before she drove away and said to herself that she knew I was going to walk into the smoke shop by mistake lol. She knows I'm gonna do a dumbass thing before I do it. True love y'all

Anyways our car is still broken even after they 'fixed' it and my blood sugar is now super high
