All goddamn week I heard everyone freaking out the Packers game today was only on NFL+ and how that was unfair blah blah blah so I signed up for NFL+ and downloaded the app and put it on all the tv’s at my parents restaurant only to find out that it IS in fact on some regular ass weirdo local cable channel so I wasted 7 bucks and like 2 hours on nothing lol

 

He has good pieces around him for sure. But when there’s reports saying they might not start JJ at all this year, that’s a yikes from me lol

they’ll probably switch at some point, but idk. We’ll see. Nothing about JJ really impresses me. Sure, he has the potential and tools, but never really had to use them that much. And going to the NFL and being asked to use them a bunch is a much different ask.

Him not playing year 1 doesn’t really bother me or change anything for me. Why rush a 21 year old relatively raw QB prospect into the NFL when you don’t have to? Maye is gonna sit year 1. Mahomes sat year 1. Not comparing the players but just saying that sitting a year isn’t the worst.

Also to be fair, I really didn’t care for him in the draft process and didn’t want him on NE. Since my father in law is a die hard Vikings fan I have a rooting interest and obviously am biased in hoping/thinking he’ll succeed in this specific team lol - that’s really where my POV comes from. If he was on the Raiders with a bad team and bad system with no rooting interest I’d be next to ya!

 

The Celtics won an NBA championship this year and I didn’t tune in for 1 minute of it lol

I'll buy the product of his team argument when his supporting cast starts getting drafted high and performing. So far the best offensive player from Michigan is a back-up TE and a back-up center. After that it's a tie between a 7th round WR who is going to be cut or a 4th string RB

 

I hope McCarthy is good because my dad’s a Vikings fan so I have a soft spot for that team. Was tough to pull for them after they doubled down on Cousins in the final year of his contract in 2020, but thankfully they finally moved the fuck on from him
