someone at work recently was saying how disappointed they were in a Ruth's Chris experience and i just didn't have the heart to tell them that they basically ate at Very Nice Outback

The outback near me is pretty good and you can get a decent steak with a few sides for like $24.

 

Big fan of the dry aged salt brick steak I had at David Burke Prime

Not all fancy chains are underwhelming though. I go to my old job at Chart House pretty much every time I’m in Jax for a Jags game and they haven’t declined in quality one bit. Though I was disappointed the king crab portion size is like half what it used to be, but it still ruled

 

I thought the food was very meh and then I got the check. Haven't been back since.

 

Chart House has an elite salad bar. All the options, tastes fresh af, amazing dressings

 

Salad bars are for rabbits. Give me a great steak

Chart House in Jax shares a parking lot with a water taxi stop that takes you across the river to the game, so even if I’m not trying to have an expensive dinner I still go for happy hour drinks & bar bites

And since I used to work there and employees there still recognize me, I can almost always get a manager to go out and tell the person collecting money in the parking lot that I’m allowed there for free lol. So I park free, eat like a king, avoid all traffic whatsoever, and ride in a boat to the stadium.

Exactly my mentality lol. I was very mad when I found out the Omni hotel didn’t have its own parking lot and I had to pay
