Finished my 53 Man prediction +2 who I think are starting out on PUP

Pretty chalk here. Jacoby has earned the starting role for now while Maye develops. Maye has looked up and down, and Milton looks exactly like we’d expect. Zappe seems to be the odd man out both on the depth chart and seemingly skillset-wise.

RBs:

Rhamondre Stevenson
Antonio Gibson
Kevin Harris

I don’t love the depth here, and Hasty may sneak in because of it, but these three are locks for now. I think it’s gonna be a big year for Rhamondre.

WRs:

Kendrick Bourne (PUP)

7 WRs. Sheesh. Bourne is gonna start off on PUP I imagine so that one won’t really count for a bit but i’m including him. Reagor makes the team mostly for the special teams elements. Thornton is the odd one where I think he stinks but he’s been having a REALLY strong camp so i’m gonna give him a spot for now. The story here is Year 2 Pop, and developing Polk and Baker. Nothing else really matters.

TEs:

Jaheim Bell hasn’t really shown much at camp yet and could use some time on the practice squad. Henry is solid and Hooper is a grizzled vet with comfort in the system. Wilcox will be the blocking TE.

Man that top-10 OT draft pick next year is gonna help a lot. I like Sidy Sow, Caedan Wallace and Onwenu and Andrews is really good but won't be around much longer. Gonna have to invest big here next year if we want Maye to really develop.

All-in-all a pretty chalk prediction because frankly it's a roster lacking a lot of talent. There's some young guys to be excited about and hope they develop, and the guys I like are locked in so we can build on it next offseason, but an under .500 season is pretty guaranteed. Notable names left off are Juju Smith-Schuster and Bailey Zappe
