Well no, anyone can interview well lol

 

I don't have an issue doing a timed editorial assessment. My problem is that they want to before any interviews are done and before I have any attachment to landing the job. It's also very financial focused and I guess I missed that when I applied because fuck I do not have that knowledge lol. but they ignore my applications to the positions I am better suited for? Places are so fucking stupid.

Also has one of those goofy salary ranges that leave me unsure I'd even want the job if I somehow got it because I'd have to move to NYC and I doubt they'd pay what I'd want to actually live there lol.

 

I really truly hate the free work assignments as part of the process. If you can't determine if someone just interviews well, and can't actually contribute than you suck at interviewing.

 

I will not do free work. But a clearly designed to be nothing more than a test is fine by me. If it's something that even looks like they could use it, then I'll refuse and bow out.
