Still possible Mitchell does poorly, there's certainly concerns. But I wouldn't compare the chance of this round 2 busting to past round 2s

There’s probably target upside for AD, but I think Downs getting hurt is more upside for the receiving TEs (Granson and Mallory) and Anthony Gould as the direct slot replacement, and maybe Pittman on short/intermediate routes; I don’t see them significantly changing the offense up to compensate, nor do I see AD being a mid-field target hog like Downs

 

I’m not saying AD is gonna take Downs place but I am saying Alec Pierce ain’t a slot WR either so ultimately they’re gonna have to adjust their offense to feed the ball to the sidelines more. It will probably affect both but I don’t see them throwing to the middle as much without Downs cause no one else you mentioned aside from Pittman offers nearly that much receiving threat
