I saw The Menzingers with Jeff Rosenstock and they were okay

Jeff was incredible as usual

 

Dave I’m exaggerating but I feel like they play MA like 3 times a year lol

They’re prob my favorite current live band and live show and I’m bummed I can’t see them in October

 

The problem I run into a bunch is literally none of my friends like the music I'm into so unless I wanna just suck it up and go alone I usually just don't have the motivation to go lol

 

go to shows alone!!!! its great!!!

 

Yeah I get that. I’m lucky my wife has a very similar taste in music, as do my brothers, and a large majority of my friend group. I’m someone also who would for some reason be anxious to go by myself.

Not including these two upcoming October shows in Portland and Boston, but future Menzingers shows there’s like a 99% chance I’ll be there if I don’t have a freakin wedding same day

 

love everything I've heard from Jeff Rosenstock from Worry - present but never listened to Bomb The Music Industry and I should have gone to see Jeff when I had the chance late last year

the Against Me stuff I like is just New Wave and White Crosses

gonna see The Menzingers in October for the first time (with The Wonder Years)

 

My wife has some bands of mine that she likes. Brian Fallon was our wedding song, so she's def open minded but there are some bands (looking at you Spanish Love Songs) that just do NOTHING for her. I think she may actively want to harm Jordan Pundik.

 

Make sure to give a little extra love during Tom’s songs

there's like 8-10 NFG songs I like but I have no desire to see them live

Vacation is very Weezer in parts, still probably my favorite Jeff released album

I prefer Scrambles and Adults (sometimes Adults) but Vacation just hits so right in June/July and is a very special listen

 

I do always be telling my wife my 2nd wedding is going to be SICK

 

have never heard a note of NFG and i never will

 

I want to see them one more time just so they can give me back the 15 shirts they stole from me.

Only time I feel like I’ve actively chose to listen to NFG in the last 12 years was their Christmas album. There’s a few I’ll throw on in December
