I would be far more believing in salary cap hell if the Broncos were incapable of moving up, and in fact were considering a trade down in exchange for someone taking on one of their worst contracts. That's cap hell.

 

Eh, they're not in cap hell in large part because they have nobody signed for 2025. Unlike the Saints who committed to like 30 dudes for 2-3 years beyond their useful lifes. Think the Broncos maybe have like 5 guys they are contract committed to (as in cutting them barely saves cap)...could wipe the roster and have like $175mil in cap space if they wanted

Like, had the Broncos converted Wilson to WR AND extended him another 2 years, that's the level of stupid the Saints were going for
