I think it can probably inform how they treat you, the methods and whatnot

 

I don’t think that’s too unusual. When I did work with clients we’d often ask it, but people were free to not answer or elaborate.

I gave an elite 30-minute presentation on Dahmer in high school. My teacher let everyone pick their own subject but for me she said: "OH I have a topic picked for you"

So I don't know what all the people in my life are getting at here

Really most of my therapy was during the process of my dad dying so that was the main topic but it would've been really funny if during that I was like "so I got ratioed on Friday"

 

the therapist I saw months ago wanted to do more meditation/internal stuff and I just don't know if that works for me

can't relax anyway and you want me close my eyes and tell you what color I see when I think of a sad memory?

Believe it or not I’ve never gone to therapy before.

Probably explains the everything about me and I probably should do something about that

i did individual therapy for a short time like 15 years ago but the guy was like, in his 70s, and i felt like he was just invalidating shit i was saying i was feeling because i was so young at the time so i just said pce.

we did virtual couples therapy for a while (obviously didnt work!!!) and that seemed better but, i felt kinda weird because the girl was OUR age and i kept unfairly and irrationally thinking "how is this 30 year old qualified to be a marriage counselor" like i expected the marriage counselor to be way older. idk.

my wife tells me to see a therapist every time I have one of my hypochondriac panic attacks.

 

this is obvious

 

therapy is dope personally because I have a mental block sharing how I feel emotionally and mentally with the ones who actually do care about me, a bit easier to talk out my brain w a stranger
