I hope they tour again soon, but with that band I’ve come to lower my expectations in regard to touring and putting out music, but I know they’ve been working on new stuff so perhaps we’ll finally get a new album next year that they tour in support of

 

Also, what have I missed this week? I swear, every time I open this thread, ten pages of, like, 400 posts have gone by. I’ve even started recalling football arguments we’ve had in here. They feel like a distant memory

I’m trying not to! We just kicked off our summer camp program at my job so I’m with kids, supervising staff, and working the pickup desk so I haven’t had much time to be on my phone lately, but I am still lurking

Laura just had to go to the physical bank to make changes that should easily be able to be made online. She hates them so much

 

We use a local credit union and when we went to California a couple of years ago I called ahead and was like “hey we’re traveling please don’t cancel my card” and the lady’s response was basically “what are you, stupid?”

 

My boomer take is we have gone too far with this whole security bullshit.

When Laura tried to update her last name with Bank Of America the guy working there tried to convince her to get a postnuptial agreement and said I was sketchy based on absolutely nothing. I wasn’t there! Dude was just trying to fuck my wife

 

I've had good experiences with local credit unions aside from the one in Jacksonville who called me FOUR YEARS AFTER MOVING and was like "hey you owe us $32" and I was like "how" and they were like "just gimme"

 

I use USAA and they’d probably help me launder if I wanted, they’re the best
