I forgot you've never been to the mountains before.

 

My sister in law loved her RAV 4, my cousin loves his Highlander, my other cousin loves her Telluride

And I swear by all Hondas because mine has over 200K miles and is still great. And I love my CRV (different from the 200K car)

 

I have nothing to contribute at this moment but my dad is currently in Denver to see some dodgers games

but he also got to go check out the broncos stadium and do that tour thing and since he’s a life long fan he was super pumped up to be there and it got me all hyped

he’s already planning a trip this season to see a game

 

I might get a RAV4

 

Final, final takes picked and edited for 4/8 songs. They’re still vocal-less and still need a couple background guitar parts but DAMN this feels good.

The drummer’s coming up next Tuesday with me for another session where we pick through the takes of songs 5-7 together and get them to about 90-95% of what we want, and then on July 9th after listening to those rough drafts and making final notes I’m gonna come back to finalize those last few things.

Then on July 16 and July 23 I’m recording vocals to the two singles. The last song, song 8, is getting re-recorded at a more patient tempo, and getting the takes picked same day on July 27,

Then August 20 is my background guitars recording date for the whole album, in early August I’ll be doing a lot of practice along with the finished recordings to figure out exactly what’s being recorded so I can do a song per hour and get it all done (rather than experimenting more in the studio). Meanwhile, the singles will be getting mixed before August 20 so that we can just neatly add the background guitars and immediately ship them off to get mastered.

The goal is, singles released by 8/30 (Friday before Labor Day), whole album done by October 4, people who come to our October 4 show will have the opportunity to preorder it on vinyl and those who spend the money to do so will receive an exclusive link to the rest of the songs before they’re out.
