i was just talking to a friend and they were trying to convince me eating ants is a thing and now im down a online rabbit hole. check out this reddit excerpt i found

I grabbed a thick blade of grass and stuck it in the hole and waited. Once several ants claimed on I popped the grass in my mouth and... It was pretty good. They have a citrus taste to them. I sat out there for about half an hour eating ants, it was really relaxing. Every now and then one would sting me before I could chew it but it was just mildly annoying, it didn't really hurt.

Ants, 8/10 will eat again
