For the first time in over 5 years, “next shows” has two out of town dates under it. I’m so stoked.

I’ve been on a few cruises since Covid and never got Covid. Built different, I guess.

Platinum NCL gang rise up (inclusives are fine too, but generally not my fav). I miss traveling. Being poor is a bummer.

Every cruise I’ve been on has been a board gaming cruise, so there is a library of like 1000 modern board games to play for free, and it’s awesome.

I just remembered the board game cruise(s) you shared pictures from way back when on Discord and I'm jealous all over again.

If I were on a board game cruise and I were losing a game I'd turn the boat really hard to make all the pieces spill

I’m going to do it Chad. I’m going to grow Terrain to the medium-size level, independent-label touring circuit and be a self sustaining band for at least a couple years. Then I’ll decide from there whether it’s worth it to keep going or not.

If I’m being super honest with myself, I need vocal lessons and in-ear monitors tbh. I’ve got the guitar playing and pedals and stage energy down.

My performances would go from “exceptional for a local musician but about par for a professional”, to “exceptional even for a professional”, though, if we always kept a patient tempo and if I sang with good tone and technique 96% of the time rather than 75-80% of the time.

if: 1) I could hear everything extremely well and not get thrown off by stage ears at times
    2) if the drummer could also hear a metronome and could hear my guitar effects and tones well enough to play with loops and to decide how aggressive to play
    3) if my voice was well trained enough, and I had good enough warm-up routines, to be “on” all the time and to have more stamina and technique even when I’m doing crazy stage shit. It’s hard as hell to do both, but I see pop stars and great punk musicians dance crazy all over the stage and still sing great, that’s the standard I wanna hold myself to
