We destroyed. Touring band told us we were the biggest draw and the best band they played with all tour. Venue owner got on the stage after I got done the last song and publicly thanked me for putting this whole show together and working so hard. We drew the majority of the 150 people who came out on a Sunday night and nearly broke even on the 50 shirts we printed in one night. Front of the crowd danced and moshed actually the entire time, not even just for a song or something. Big time success.

 

We personally took credit for so much of the draw the venue owner pleaded to me to take a little extra and not split the pot evenly lol. But I’m not gonna; bands were all great, it’s not a “who sells the most tickets” contest for me when we play locally.

 

Good morning to those of you who got a vicious sunburn this weekend. And also those who did not.

Where'd ya burn

As an Irish fella, I burn in 20 seconds from the sun. So I get it. I go crazy with sunscreen these days to avoid returning back to my sunburn of 2012 days

 

i golfed saturday and sunday and applied sunscreen many times over and got some nice color but am not in any pain

 

i also got a haircut

 

I'm not actually in pain, but am very noticeably burnt on my neck and arms. The worst part of it is that I was within an arms length of sunscreen pretty much all day and just never put any on

I'd try to argue, but this happens at least once a year.

 

If we hit the beach late in the summer, it'll happen again
