We celebrating him no longer having purple balls tonight with some long islands and a Big Mac pizza!

He’s still not close to 100% better, but he had a follow up appointment today and they said everything is looking good but still a slow process

 

This feels like a good way to immediately get purple balls again

Yeah, it's a weird spot where I got more than most of my department so I should probably just be happy and shut up, but they were significantly underpaying me for my previous responsibilities, refused to even meet me half way of what I should have been paid, and then gave me even more responsibility.

But also, yeah, no work today and we’re having a yard sale tomorrow so I had a bunch of other stuff to do to get ready for that

nah. My youngest daughter started randomly calling yard sales, “junk yards” and that’s pretty much what it is. Lot of baby/toddler stuff if your date goes really well, though.

Yeah I’ve been looking around and applying to some things. What this new role gives me that’s huge is a direct report so it may be good for me to chill for a bit to add some leadership experience to the resume.
