yea sum really came into their own and seperated themselves from most of their peers when they leaned more into their metal influences. id take does this look infected and chuck over all killer any day.

 

Also petition to start recognizing Northstar as “did pop punk better than a lot of the bands that got way bigger and lasted longer”

 

Pollyanna is a seminal “scene” album by my standards.

It’s unfortunate that, in terms of taking pop punk roots and refining the sound into something more diverse, the bands who released the best albums are both cancelled

Haven’t listened to BN or Say Anything in like 7-8 years, fuck Jesse and Max and their narcissist asses, but if we’re speaking without the hindsight of “fuck that sketchy ass band and the sketchy ass lyrics they write”, IARB and TDAG were the peak of that “third wave” of pop punk-umbrella bands who moved on from writing solely pop-punk

Keep in mind I say all this with the same distaste as having to admit that Tyreek Hill is a dangerous receiver.

 

tbh i had heard of bn but never listened to them and had absolutely no idea they were such a thing until i joined this site.

 

QBs shouldn't wear 0, 1, 14, or 17
RBs shouldn't wear 7 or 11-19
WRs shouldn't wear 6, 16, or 85
TEs should be assigned based on route percentage. Blockers get the 40s, receivers get 10-19, all arounders get 80s
OL should only wear numbers between 60 and 70. The best OL gets to pick his number, the rest will be assigned based on sequential order.
IDL shouldn't wear anything but 70s, 90s, and 10
EDGE shouldn't wear 20-40
LBs are the only position capable wearing any number prefix.
CBs should get measured for how much dawg they have in them. Certified? Low-20s or 1-5 Puppy? Low 30s or 10-12. None at All? High 20s and 30s
Safeties can wear any number below 50.
