It’s genuinely hard to find a better, more realistic commentary on the mechanisms behind gang crime in the US. Like, it is not overdramatized that much and it actually makes a lot of really really good points about the systemic factors driving the issue. I found that it gets better every season cause each season looks at the issue through a different lens, while still remaining chronological with the sequence of events and keeping main characters involved

the idea of accountability threads is good and can be a useful and helpful outlet for people, but its just gone about completely ass backwards on this website. its usually just the same 1 or 2 users drive-by posting tweets with absolutely NO context and we're supposed to have a normal rational discussion about it?? not to mention 87.99% of the time its shit thats like "what real accountability are we looking for here?". its exhausting to even watch happen let alone engage in it.

of course what he said is awful, and disgusting, and I'd be pissed if anyone from here agreed with it, but some users in there saying "wow I hope kc boots him from the team" and asking other players/coaches to publicly say "fuck harrison butker" are showing their ass/ignorance on football culture AND how people treat each other IN REAL LIFE and not on the internet

NO ONE on a football team wants to be seen as rocking the boat, that's the whole (terrible no bad very good) culture

 

"Hey Patrick Mahomes, I know you're the best player in football and you guys spend 8 months or more out of the year together and have tremendous camaraderie/bonds, why aren't you publicly disavowing Harrison Butker???"
