We had them in Colorado for a while. They all closed in the last 2-3 years. Was pretty solid fast casual food

As much as Game of Thrones hooked me when I was originally watching it with a friend, looking back they definitely overdid the “sell the shock value of how brutal medieval violence was”

fight scenes are fun, blood guts whatever, but there are simply way too many rape scenes under the veil of, idk, harsh “realism”? It’s just so gratuitous and I cringe whenever I rewatch the show and yet another of the 50 scenes like that comes up. If they were doing it JUST to accurately illustrate a message that society is dangerous for women, like Handmaid’s Tale does, that would be one thing… but they also sexualize the violence way too much for that argument to hold up. Feels a lot more like Quentin Tarantino casting himself in movies just to flex to the audience that he’s a white guy saying the n word in national theatres. Just no actual pragmatic reason why it needs to be that constant of a thing in the show.

 

Perhaps my favorite dumb madden thing that should be easily fixable is that the Ravens will run the same offense no matter what QB they draft. They've got Jared Goff out here running 10+ times a game lol

 

This is all easily fixed by simply not having an insatiable ego.

 

Sometimes I forget how dumb this site can be and today is reminding me thanks to the streaming thread.
