I just meant in general. Of course I ordered the Reuben sandwich one time at the Sip and Bite below me. It was solid but next time I went back to ordering one of my favorites from there cause I just know what they do well and when I get in the mood for them I want that lol

Baltimore is GOOD at this. So many places have great gyros. Including the diner below me. Lot of Greek immigrants moved here in the 20th century so it checks out. There’s even a Greektown. One of our most famous current comedians is named Stavros and the Wire went out of its way to illustrate the high Greek and Polish population of working class seaport employees

My last name is Greek too, if anyone didn’t know. It’s spelled Mεντζoς

The Mentzos side of my family is traceable all to the same ancestors only 3 or 4 generations up, so we’re technically the only Mentzos who emigrated from Greece. But my grandparents’ family intermarried so many times with so many races & none of the people who were in my life actually spoke any Greek or had parents that spoke Greek.

It’s actually my grandmother’s last name not a grandfather’s, that is the only branch of my family that is fully white. My dad was raised by a single mom so I guess just adopted her name. They’re Greek and Scottish iirc
