My dad is funny and also can be a corny dad. A lot of his funniest stuff is unintentional though.

Idk fish just is never something I crave or will go to before other parts of the menu. I've lived near the water most of my life (San Diego, Seattle, Clearwater) and the fish and chips finally got me in Texas lol

 

I’m new to the Reuben game but I’m a big fan. Still figuring the ins and outs.

My favorite fish and chips place is in Denver so I feel that last part

 

Nonsense. It was the best Reuben of my life by a mile and my opinion of them is changed forever

 

I paid $24 for that pastrami Reuben with a drink and a side. I winced as I handed the cashier my credit card.

One bite in, immediately it felt worth every penny.

 

It’s certainly not Denver either lol. But also I’m more speaking about their traditional style of frying it being very different from like a southern fried catfish. Not the same thing imo

 

Dustin is funny and also a dad. He's almost too funny to be a dad. All dad's are granted certain powers of dad humor upon becoming a father but those powers are beneath Dustin.

I dont really like cheese on things except pizza so im fine with this

 

Yeah but I’d rather get something that place excels at. In Atlanta I’m getting the fried chicken, not the fish and chips. In Baltimore I’m getting the shrimp salad and crab cake club sandwich, not the Reuben. In Jacksonville im getting the shrimp and grits and the grilled biscuit, not the breakfast enchiladas. Etc etc

 

I still order pizza though obviously

but I must confess, I’m now less impressed with that local joint I bragged to y’all about a year ago lol.

Prince Street pizza (Sicilian style) and Greenpoint pizza (Brooklyn style) were both better than any pizza I’ve ever had anywhere else

 

If you're eating once and at a renowned place sure but otherwise this doesn't make sense to me.

Tf am I supposed to eat in Athens? Tropicalia?
